The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas... And my husband decided that it's time for us to bring a new tradition to Christmas Eve: The reading of "The Night Before Christmas". The book he's reading from is from his childhood, and I feel so blessed that we'll now be able to make it a part of our daughter's childhood!

Daddy-Daughter Time

Perry & Livia reading and cuddling together -- catching up on their "Daddy-Daughter Time". Livia made it very clear almost as soon as her Daddy was home that she needed some special time with him. Liv took Perry by the hand and lead him into her room sso that he could read to her.

Welcome Back Daddy!

Perry has accepted a new job in St. Louis, and until things get completely settled, he's there throughout the week while we're here in Evansville. This was the first time that Livia has had her Daddy away from her this long, and this was her getting to see him after that first long week:
